ABOUT MARY JO MECCA

Schooled in couture by the brilliant Miss Alice Sapho of New York and Paris, and apprenticed under the incomparable Catherine Heiser, I have designed for some of the most prominent modern dance choreographers in New York.

In addition to styling photo shoots, I have been the costume designer for Princeton University for the past six years, while also leading master classes in the art of fashion.

From my Manhattan-based studio, I am currently accepting clients in need of personal wardrobe consultations to cultivate their distinctive style.

I believe that on stage or off, everyone needs a workable wardrobe that is not only wearable and supports their lifestyle, but brings out their absolute best.
