February 24th - March 6th, 2011
written by Matthew Keuter
directed by Jason Podplesky & Nathaniel Shaw

Trevor has many questions. Why is his fiancee not wearing her ring anymore? Where did his father run off to? Can he trust his family? What’s going to happen to the bar his family owns and runs? And, why is the mysterious woman he meets under the bridge so eerily accurate about the events of his life? In this new comedy, by Matthew Keuter, "Love or Leap" is the main theme when it comes to taking chances, admitting mistakes, and following your heart. But what happens when trusting your gut doesn’t turn out the way you intended? Can you make the decision to turn things around so your family understands and you’re living your authentic life all at the same time? Light is shed a little darker when spending so much time under the bridge.

THE CRITICS

"What sets this play apart from many others of this type is that playwright Matthew Keuter wisely avoids many of the clichés that are often associated with the blue collar comedic drama. The actors all play their parts with intelligence and dignity, but the story never devolves into poor-but-proud chest beating – this is meaty family drama rather than banal social commentary."

"Riveting and unique...
The author shows us the true
complexity of the thwarted soul."
