TIM BARKER
Tim recently performed the role of Freddie Fillmore (and fifteen other voice characters) in the Mile Square Theater (Hoboken, NJ) production of It's A Wonderful Life. Off-Broadway/National Tour: Twelfth Night/Tartuffe with The Acting Co. Regional: Two River Theater Co; Oregon Shakespeare Festival; Peninsula Players; Stratford Shakespeare Festival (Canada); Chicago Shakespeare Theater; CTC Minneapolis. FILM/TV: Newlyweeds, Alter Egos, Law&Order, 30 Rock, Unforgettable. Tim is a graduate of SCPA in Cincinnati, OH and holds a BFA from Webster University St. Louis, MO. Happy Anniversary TMB... you rock my world!!!!


CHRISTIAN CAMPBELL
Christian is a Canadian stage television and film actor, singer, director, and producer.  His roles have included Gabriel in Trick, Greg Ivey on Big Love, Peter Webster on the controversial Book Of Daniel, and Jimmy in the Emmy award winning Reefer Madness.  He is also known to daytime audiences for his role as Bobby on All My Children. His NY stage appearances include Pip in Great Expectations, Jimmy in Reefer Madness for which he won an Ovation as well as Best Performance from Critics Circle Awards, Drift for which he won Best Actor from NYMTF, and Jonathon Larson in tick...tick Boom! which he performed both on US and London stages. Retaining his Canadian and British citizenships, Campbell became a naturalized US Citizen February 7, 2007.

DANIEL DAMIANO
Daniel most recently performed in an acclaimed revival of his 2-time MITF Award-nominated solo show, The Hyenas Got It Down (WorkShop Theater Co.)  He has worked with a variety of theatre companies throughout NYC and is a member Actor & Playwright of both the WorkShop Theater Company and Mind The Gap Theatre Company.   He will also be featured in the soon-to-be-released short film Sucker.  As an Award-Winning Playwright, he has had plays produced throughout the US and Australia, and was recently a Finalist for the 2012 Fulton Theatre Discovery Project Award.  His play Day of the Dog will receive its World Premier with St. Louis Actors Studio in March 2013.  Love to Judy, Gram and Ma.  www.danieldamiano.com

LUCY OWEN
New York credits include Time et. al., and Complete (SoHo Rep. and Cherry Lane, NY Fringe) and several workshops/readings at New York Theatre Workshop, The Cherry Lane, MTC, MCC, The Women's Project and The Public among others.  Regional credits include Berkeley Rep (Cloud Nine), Theatreworks in Mountainview (Shakespeare In Hollywood), San Francisco Shakespeare Festival (Henry IV, parts 1 & 2; The Winter’s Tale), PCPA Theatrefest (Arcadia, Amadeus, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Romeo and Juliet, Skylight), Porchlight Theatre Company (The Seagull, An Ideal Husband), and Theatre of Note/Halpalis production of Three Sisters (Natasha) for which she received "Best Actress in a Supporting Role" awards from both Eye Spy LA and Review Plays.com. NATHANIEL SHOW
Nathaniel is the Founder and Artistic Director of New York City's The Active Theater. For the company, he has directed the 1st New York City revival of The Violet Hour, the World Premiere of Bridgeboy, and the original Workshop of Body Language at the Midtown International Theatre Festival. Under his leadership the company has collaborated with artists such as Tony Nominees Marcia Milgrom Dodge and Xanthe Elbrick, Jeremy Dobrish, Christian Campbell, Michael McGlone, and Marc Robin. Active has produced in collaboration with Greg Schaffert, Craig Haffner, and Karl Held, and Bud Martin. His regional credits include  his work at the Mount Washington Valley Theater Company, where he has directed and choreographed Hair (13 NHTA Nominations, including Best Direction and Best Choreography), Hairspray (7 NHTA Nominations, including Best Direction and Best Choreography), and Damn Yankees, and the direction of A Chorus Line. His choreography has been seen at the Broadway Palm Theater in Mesa, Arizona in Fiddler on the Roof and Babes in Toyland, as well as in the film Perception by Daedalus Productions. He was the Associate Director of the Off-Broadway comedy Any Given Monday at 59E59.  This summer, he will return to Mt. Washington to direct Godspell and ...Spelling Bee.  Huge thanks to Jennie Contuzzi for her tireless efforts towards this play.  Love to my wonderful wife, Lisa- Lisa!
JENNIE CONTUZZI
Jennie is a graduate of the Playwriting program at the New School for Drama and is a member of MCC Theater's Playwrights' Coalition.  Other plays include My Father's Son (NY International Fringe Festival) and Love, Me (Margaret) (Emerging Artists Theatre).  She is deeply indebted to The Active Theater and especially Nathaniel Shaw, who took a chance on this play three years ago and worked tirelessly to turn it in to what it is today.     
KERRI J. LYNCH
Kerri is glad to be working with the Active on yet another awesome original piece. Her favorite New York productions include Violet Hour, Shine!, Bridgeboy, Sweeney Todd. Favorite Regional productions include Rent, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, November, 39 Steps, Rounding Third, and Ever So Humble a new play by Tim Pinckney at the Hangar Theatre. VICTORIA MILLER
Victoria is happy to be joining the Active Theater for this production.  Having worked with Nathaniel in summer stock, she’s enjoying the collaboration here in the city.  She is a NH native, who currently resides in Manhattan.  After getting a BA in Theatre Design and Technology at Plymouth State University, she went on to earn an MFA in Lighting Design from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University under F. Mitchell Dana.  She designs in the tri-state area and regionally in New England. She gives her thanks and love to her Mom and Dad, who never fail to offer support.

Jacob is delighted to be a part of The Active Theater. JENNIE K. GALLAGHER
Jennie is a freelance make-up artist here in NYC, primarily working in film and television. Jennie studied make-up professionally at the Make-up Designory (MUD) and has a B.A. in Theater Arts from Le Moyne College. She is very happy to have been brought in to work on Body Language - helping to create some realistic brutality.
SARAH SHAHINIAN
Sarah has been involved with Active since its inception in 2009 and is now the Associate Artistic Director. She just returned to New York from directing the San Diego premiere of RESPECT: A Musical Journey of Women. As an actor, Sarah originated the role of Leigh in Active’s 2010 production of Magnetic North, opposite Christian Campbell. Her other theater credits include: Les Misérables (Eponine – 25th Anniversary Tour & Houston TUTS), OKLAHOMA! (Ado Annie – Revival National Tour & Fulton Opera House), Little Women (Jo - Syracuse Stage), Picnic at Hanging Rock (Lincoln Center & The O’Neill Theater Center), Married Alive & Magnetic North (Act II Playhouse), Oedipus at Colonus (Handcart Ensemble). FILM/TV: Guiding Light (CBS), The Band (NYTVF), Brothers Three, On The Prowl, and America’s Got Talent (as part of the cast of Les Misérables). Sarah is also an animal lover and NYU Tisch graduate. CATE CAMMARATA
Cate is a dramaturg, director, and producer, and teaches theatre arts at SUNY Stony Brook. She has worked in the professional theatre for many years in New York and in the regional theatre, and most recently produced Famous, a new musical inspired by the Black Dahlia murder starring Courtney Reed (In the Heights, Mama Mia!) and Lauren Zakin (Legally Blonde, Wicked). She holds a BFA in Acting and Directing from Syracuse University and is now working toward her MFA in Dramaturgy at SUNY Stony Brook.
